The Artful Narrative Inquiry Network (Ani-net) of academic and community researchers is the most recent incarnation of the community of scholars formerly (2010-2014) known as NIC, (the Narrative Inquiry Centre) and before that (2000-2010) as CeNTraL ( the Centre for Narratives and Transformative Learning), all of which have been research communities attached to the Graduate School of Education, University of Bristol.
Over the past fifteen years since its inception this network has become increasingly interdisciplinary, attracting members from other departments in the University of Bristol as well as from other universities in the UK and elsewhere in the world and scholars from organisations and communities outside the university sector.
Ani-net has a reputation for producing artful, interdisciplinary narrative inquiries and in particular for using collaborative writing as a form of inquiry with a range of projects.
